This course has been specifically designed to enhance the capability of Students to understand and practically apply Ethical theory, Ethical leadership, EI, and Ethical decision-making frameworks at an individual and organisational level. It has also been designed to continuously maintain from a governance oversight and monitoring perspective, the highest ethical standards for the student through our association with the Guild of Ethics, Culture & Leadership (G.E.C.L.). Students that successfully pass all three modules of the course will be invited to apply for membership of the G.E.C.L., a leading advocate of Ethical Leadership and Cultural Improvement across the world, thus creating a guild of individuals that are acknowledged by their peers and wider society as ambassadors of Altruism, Respect, Care and Authentic Leadership. Please see the separate membership rules when being invited to becoming a member of the G.E.C.L and using the G.E.C.L Logo. On successful completion of all three modules, you will be awarded in total 90 hours CPD . A marking criterion will be used to assess each assignment based on the overall quality of the analysis, depth of reflection/strategic thinking in terms of your: • Clear understanding of Ethical Theory, Leadership, EI and Decision-making • Ability to practically apply theory in both a personal and organisational context • Evidence of self-reflective practices • Appropriate structures, frameworks and a logical flow of information • Clarity of expression and grammar An overall pass rate of 65% needs to be passed for the complete course or individual module *Please note you cannot use the Guilds logo until you have passed all three modules of the course and been accepted as a member of the Guild All course materials provided are protected by copyright law.
